The Bon Festival season has finally begun, and the Yatsugatake area is full of people. Many people come to play this week and next week.

The Kiyosato / Seisen dormitory has various programs to enjoy walking in the high summer plateau.
For example, on the weekend of August 11th, “Enjoy nature and enjoy Kiyosato trekking (valley course)” is scheduled. As the name of the event suggests, on this day we will walk in the valley of the Kawamata River, which originates from Yatsugatake.
On August 14th, the same Kiyosato trekking “viewing course” was also held. Here you can enjoy a panoramic view of Yatsugatake, the Southern Japan Alps, the Chichibu Mountains, and Mt. Fuji while walking along the rolling course.
In addition, there is a program called “Guide Walk Forest Walk” where nature guides introduce the best of Kiyosato Kogen. This is held every day from August 12 to August 16 in addition to Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and you can make a reservation on the day so you can feel free to participate.
Also, strolling is not limited to daytime. A “night hike” that walks through the night forest is also held.
This is held from August 11th to 16th. We go out to the night forest where wild animals live, and enjoy the experience in the darkness that we can not usually experience.
